Who We Are?

We are the John Horn High School Jaguar Battalion. Since 2004 we have been an Honor Unit with distinction. Our goal is to make young adults better citizens through our program. We teach classes that will help benefit cadets in the future such as: Team Building, Time Management, and Winning Colors. The main reason we are here is to help young citizens to further develop their leadership skills.

Our History

The Jaguar Battalion was formed as an NDCC in 2000, and was recognized as an official JROTC battalion in 2001. The battalion was named the Student Organization of the Year at John Horn High School in 2003. Since 2004, the Jaguar Battalion has been an Honor Unit with distinction. The Battalion participates in the community through Service Learning Projects and parades such as the Veterans' Day Parade. The Battalion Color Guard continues to be outstanding and receives awards at competitions.
